They look good till they move. Saw one and though hmmm quite nice. Bloke got into and drove off, tyres screetching and then as the turbo dropped the pressure the dump valves sounded. Was ok till then!

Indeed. Would never perform or sound the real thing. On the plus side, 16 year old girls would love it

would much rather have a wolf in sheeps clothing eg nicely tuned car!

my mates ex boss had 1, was built and tuned by mclaren, cost loads (half as much as a real) sounded like 1 n was pretty damn fast, top quality work too, looked amazing, untill you seen it next to real 1 and you couple pick the differences with them all day long.

plus what you gonna say you drive, a ferrari or an mr2, both ways your wrong

Hi mate the photo of the replica here has been flipped in photoshop to give you a better idea looking at the same angle, so this is actually the other side of the car hence why there is no petrol cap.

The one on the opening page looks crap, you can just tell from a mile away it isn't right.

However, I would gladly drive this:

...but like I said, I wouldn't try and pass it off as the real thing, I'd be perfectly open about it being a replica and take all the stick that came with it.

I'll never own or even drive a supercar, but it would be nice to do the next best thing even if someone in the pub said I was a knob.

at first i thought no, never, but you know if i bought something like a ferrari ever it would be for the looks of it more than anything. Im not that interested in the speed of it, maybe thats silly to some but i just like the look of them, same with lambos.
So potentially i might, yeah, having seen them like that, id rather a lambo personally if there was a good replica of that i might be really interested. but it would have to be very good.

I'd take my 10k and buy a TVR.

To me owing a ferrari is not just about looks your buying the performance and handling, would you want to look like ronnie coleman if you could only bench 20kg and deadlift 60kg max?

No. Horribly council. It's the automotive equivalent of a chav in a Burberry hat and Luis Vitton bag, buying a new tracksuit in JJB.
