Some of them look almost identicle from what I've seen and can be picked up for about 10k, the best looking ones I've seen are the ferrari 355 replicas most of which are converted toyota mr2's.

Check out these links if your interested

No absolutlry not!!!!
That top one is sh1t too. I can tell instantly by the wheels, thats without looking closer or seeing the dodgy interior.
Not to mention the turbo noise when you put your foot down.

Yes and no.

I'd rather build something to my own design that looked like a generic supercar, if that makes sense? Design an outer for a car rather than try and claim it as something else. In fact I intend to do it one day when I have some money!

This one is a much better example:

In fact the 360 looks awesome:

How much cash are you looking at to convert a 406 to a 360!!?

yeah mate that was a bad example of a replica, the wheels look nothing alike, I've put up a better pic of a replica now.

Thats a lot better but its hard to pick faults on a photo. If you REALLY wanted a Ferrari and could ever afford to own one then its a possibility but im not desperate to own one so i wouldnt been seen dead in one.
Id much prefer to build a Cobra. (which i will do one day, its sort of an ambition of mine)

I would drive one, but own one

I'd rather build a decent kit cat from scratch.

Check out those videos I've linked above mate, the copying is flawless (the only give-away is the rims).

I'd definately have one of the ones out of those videos, but I wouldn't try and tell everyone it was a Ferrari, I'd tell them straight it was a replica.

You can buy a genuine Ferrari or Porsche for less than the cost of building some of these kit cars.

Sure,it won't be a late model, but at least you can say you have a genuine one!.

NOS it and tell people it will beat a Ferrari LOL

Do they sort out the handling etc for the £10k or is it just to basically fit a body to the 406 chasis and that's it?
Do they move the engine?

I'd imagine they'd want more money to make it better. They say they'll fit a lot of legitimate parts to make it sound like a Ferrari too.

Goal in life: own a replica Ferrarri by the time I'm 28! (and a real one by 35 lol)

LOL unlucky. Well when you get it right, check the vids, 100x better than the replica above. The vids have a real car alongside it and go in at every angle with the camera and the copy is absolutely flawless, really impressive.
