Following theiopener's Get Shredded for Summer - Nymjam style! journal ( http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/m_2617979/tm.htm ), I have created this separate journal to my existing one so I can easily host the weekly progress pics.

Pics are going to be taken on Saturday mornings and uploaded over the weekend so I should end up with 9-12 sets of weekly pics (depending on how long I continue cutting for)

I may just add a review of the previous week's training where necessary but will use my main journal for regular training updates.
Praise The Lord - My Regular Journal

Look at the size of your right trap compared to your left one! I ll be interested to see how your progress goes, your bulking has been an outrageous success so Ive got high expectations.

I wonder if that's a posture thing (I'm simply leaning over to one side) or a big muscle imbalance?

Tony - your current condition as per the pics you put up is where I'm aiming at.

Could be a contributing factor to making your right arm stronger on bench pressing? Your right trap is definitely bigger although I dont thinks its as bad as that pic suggests.

End of Week 2

I've managed 4 x 40(ish) minute AM spinning sessions, a decent diet and 3 weights sessions. Average weekly weight is down 3 lbs since the start so going according to plan.

New camera being used so slightly different quality in pics.

Went out last night and got very drunk so diet today will suffer badly. I rarely drink and it was a really good night so it's not too much of a concern.

My left trap is noticeably bigger than my right one. No idea why.

You look tired and bored as f*ck in those pics.

Bencher - I'm 6 foot exactly

Titch - that's my normal expression. I did try smiling once. It didn't suit me.

Well within your reach mate with the mass your carrying.

A good 10 weeks should see you right.

Week 3 pics are on my new digital camera.
The USB cable for my new digital camera is lost. I bought a new one from eBay but it was the wrong size. So as soon as I can get a new cable, more pics will follow.

Weight still dropping at a kilo a week.
I can now do my belt up on the 2nd to last notch so progress being made there.
Diet has been super good and now only eating carbs around training.
Been maintaining the CV with a little blip this week when I got fcuked off with it all and just stayed at home rather than go to the gym.

Strength is at an all time low and even though I still weight a shade under 16 stone I look skinny as fcuk except after training when I look 100% different.

Meh, we'll see what the next few weeks bring.

Great - just another 3 weeks to go feeling like this then

I did need a kick up the arse from the missus because I was quite happy to stay at home and avoid the gym but she actually encouraged me to go and train. Thankfully I did and felt much better for doing so.

I'm starting a new routine from Monday because I want something away from standard linear progression because I get so pissed off and demotivated when I don't make constant progress each week.
I shall commence Chad Waterbury's 10x3 for fat loss commencing Monday.

End of Week 4. Another kilo lost. Everything apart from resistance training still on track but commencing the 10x3 tonight so everything should be back to normal again.

In the recent photos it seems my 'love handles' are getting less prominent so that's quite pleasing.

Other than that I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and keep checking the weight's still dropping slowly.

New routine will be:

DAY 1
Deadlift
Dips
Back Squat
Lat Pull - wide

DAY 2
Incline D'bell Press
Box Squat
Bent-Over Row
Push Press

DAY 3
Flat Bench
RDL
Chin-Up
Dumbbell Shoulder Press

With up to 15 mins HIIT CV after each session plus SSCV in the morning 3-5 times a week.

Cheers matey. This cutting lack (and especially CV!) is all completely new so I'm rather intrigued to see what happens in the next 6-8 weeks
