What's the difference between doing say, 4 sets of 6 reps, or 3 sets of 8 reps. Presumably you can lift slightly heavier weights when performing 6 reps, but what does that actually do for you and what are the advantages / disadvantages of each aproach?

Thanks

8-12 rep range will facilitate growth better.

I train with 5-6 reps for strength.

its probably not as much as people will have you believe.

if im correct T0NY is a power lifter and he looks like a body builder. so im not sure what to think regarding reps.

I found that I grew better of low reps max poundage but alot of people are otherwise. Try them both I guess and see what works for you.
