Just seen your pics - Beach body in 7 week will be no problem at all as your BF% seems to be relatively low already and you have quite a toned physique already.

ORIGINAL: strikalite Mate, it really isn't worth trying to change your body in any way for your holiday in just 7 weeks...nobody will give a flying fcuk if you can see an extra ab or not ...IF you are hell bent on wanting to look really good(just for your own minds sake!) then maybe get a spray tan done leading up to your holiday...but just relax and enjoy it mate! no harm to reach the next level and challenge himself though exactly, i dont agree will what strikalite said, but people in general dont care what you look like do they? we all do it for our selfs not other people. if you look at my pic youl see how lean i am but still like to lose another half a stone at least, so i feel so much better and i look the dogs b, with my lil barbie girlfriend

Actually mate you can make a very visible difference in 7 weeks if you train right. 2 weeks holiday will be well timed to let your body rest then back into mass mode when you get back. You are lean as it is so wouldn't worry too much other than keep some regular cardio sessions on the go. IMHO with your current physique you should go for mass. As a newbie any new mass routine will have a marked difference in the 1st 8 weeks (though will take 3 weeks before you see results so DON'T give up on it). you can do a nice 3 day split of mostly compound lifts and in the 6-8 rep range and could run a split as follows: Day 1: Chest/Delts/Tricep Day 2: REST Day 3: Back/Bicep Day 4: REST Day 5: REST Day 6: Legs/Abs (nothing more laughable than muscular torso with weedy unworked legs on the beach IMO ) Day 7: REST Your core lifts which you must include on the respective days should be - Dips for chest, Low incline dumbell bench press, Deadlifts, wide grip chins, barbell shrugs, squats, stiff leg deadlifts. Check out my beginners guide as to how to train effectively when starting out and some other pointers.
