What do you think is the better exercise. Squats or the Leg Press you know where you sit down and push. Im now able to squat 80 kilos which has come on well but manage loads more then this on the press. Is it Best to keep on squatting on ditch them for the Leg Press type machine.

you can press more because youre not pressing your BW with it whereas a squat its your BW + whatevers on your back. i prefer the squat personally

R3261 -> RE: For Legs (Apr. 29 2008 17:03:59)

do them both

fun meter -> RE: For Legs (Apr. 29 2008 18:19:31)

I do both.

4x6 Front Squat, and 2x8 Single Leg Press.

You don't HAVE to squat, and you don't HAVE to leg press but, the squat is pretty close!

#Hench -> RE: For Legs (Apr. 29 2008 21:53:01)

why not do both?

lower reps on squatting and <8 reps for the presses
