It's ok, at least now Avram knows what to prepare for in the final.

OH YEAH JOHN CAPPA I WENT THERE.

We all know what happened the last time Avram prepared for a final.

i think its its destinyt that united and liverpool play in the final.

all things considered youd fancy chelsea. i can see liverpool pulling something out of the bag though.

as for evra well we all have our opinions, if he was poor at defending would he be in uniteds starting 11 though?

i thought from last night its quite obvious what evras game is all about

Just something to add on Evras defending in the paper today.

Xavis rating.....5

Up against the best full-back on the park in Evra- Which is probly why he failed to really get into the game.

Constantly tracked by the frenchman.

Evras rating....7

Strong in the tackle and excellent going forward.

cant believe anyone doubts Evra is the best left back around at the moment, i wouldn't swap him for anyone else in the world.

Now if we can just get a good young right back to replace Gary Neville we'll be awesome next season .... Again.

Nobody is doubting how good Evra is. He is just poor at defending and is picked mainly because of the attacking options he gives to the team on the left hand side. It would take a very biased individual to think otherwise.

I personally think Abidal & Clichy are superior to Evra.

Evidently the French coach does too with regards to Abidal.

As above.

Defensively Evra has a lot to work on. Offensively he is one of the best left backs in European football.

what paper u read, the one i read gave xavi 7 and wasnt iniesta against evra, so u probs got em mixed up

by the way the player with the highest was messi with 8, scholes got 7, if it wasnt for the goal he wud of probs got about 5.

messi didnt score or create cus eto was so poor las night and obviously after the hit and hope manu just defended.

Messi played wide on the right (against Evra) for the majority of last night from what I saw on ITV.

yeh ur rite, i still reckon he got iniesta and xavi mixed up, xavi is class and he played well last night.

i also agree with everythin u put in this thread. People sayin scholes played amazin and sayin lampard is **** was rediculous, typical bias manu fans blinded by ther beloved far away team.

It was the sun mikewats and xavi was forward on the right hand side, messi played the second half through the middle.

Ferdinand was the sun star man with a 9 rating and rightly so imo.

For me Evra is currently the best LB in the world.Maybe not the best defensive LB in the world, but definitly the best offensive LB,but hes pretty good at tackling and defending as well.

If Maka was asked to name the best player in every position it would go something like the below.

VDS
Brown
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra
Ronaldo
Carrick
Scholes
Rooney
Anderson
Tevez.

added to that

Best Manager : Bacon face
Best puppet : Pinocchio Quirez
Best ground : Mold Trafford
Best pies : Mold Trafford.
