I've been offered a multigym which i'm keen on using but the cable has broke, does anyone know where I can get a cable for a Weider 8530 and are they easy to fit??

If you;re a member of a gym ask the floor manager, if not get on the blower and ask the importer (find them on the web or possibly in a label on the machine), they aren't rocket science to fit but you will need some tools.

thanks for your comment. How do I attach a clip to the cable, that seems to be the problem as I've ben told i can get metal cable from hardware store.

You can buy some clamps from B&Q , they are like tiny U-Bolts that are found on car exhausts etc

Like these only smaller


Simply loop the cable , then apply 2-3 of these clamps (just to be safe) where the cable runs back along itself

We had to do this on an old machine once , it worked fine
