i was in the army for 7 years with some of the bravest men i could ever meet,going by your post you would be unsuitable for many reasons.i think you know what they are.

Can imagine PW being in Iraq on his army scooter, passing some Iraqi kids at a bus stop and them giving him abuse, and he proceeds to go back and offer them out.

I only read this afer your last locked thread ! I think 6 months in jai would do you good PW and thats the same reason i believe in bringing back national service

Did you read my reply to your bricklaying thread? Thats how you will get an apprenticeship.

TBH I can't imagine the army taking to someone "laid back", but do what you want to do, if you don't you'll regret it.

To answer your question, no going in the forces to get a trade won't get you a job in civvy street, it takes just as long to do an apprenticeship and you won't have to "kill people" .
