Whos been in the army?

What did you do? how did you find it?

Im thinking about doing bricklaying in the army.

But i'm just wondering if it will be easy to get a job in bricklaying when I come out?

Only thing is theres no way I want to die for my country:-
Reasons being:
1. I dont agree with war (Especially the Afghanistan/Iraq one)
2. I dont want to die for chavs, illegal immigrants and all the scum of our society.
3. I certainly dont want to die for £13,000 per year.

What time do you go to bed and wake up, also are the people in your room usually bels like try keeping you awake etc.
All that ironing and getting stuff immaculate doesnt appeal to me, as im laidback and dont care about anything really (or as my dad puts it nothing interests me)

However reasons I do want to join:
1. Get a qualification/ trade for the future
2. Maybe become more of a man
3. Be able to save money up as accomodation and food paid for?
4. For the experience, meet new mates - have a laugh?

How much money is accomodation?

cheers

you are trolling and trying to provoke a reaction with your posts

no, your skill in bricklaying will be useless outside of the army as the army only use military bricks

Whilst reading your post all I was thinking to myself was you have completly the wrong attitude for this. If they would even have you I doubt you would last very long.

Oh and you have no say about where your deployed.

I'm not going to post anymore in this because in truth your post annoyed me and I don't want to really go off on one.

Muppet! Why would you even consider joining the army if you disagree with war?

EDIT:

Because I cant get a job anywhere else, if I could get a job on a building site I would.

As I say killing people doesnt interest me, the whole point of the war disgusts me.

But at the end of the day maybe I will change for the better if I go in.

But if I wont be able to get a job on the outside when I come out, then stuff that.

how would you kill them as a brick layer? build a dodgy bunker for them with bad supporting walls and no RSJ?

the whole point of your exhistance here as a member is to provoke and play dumb when you are flamed... some members even treat you like the retarded cousin every family has with regards to that they humour and pat on the head when they come out with stupid crap like this...

People take this bloke far too seriously

PW, your posts are fun because the people you ridicule and 'don't want to be like' are the exact people I compare you to when reading more of your inane drivel.

You're one step away from hiding the kids at the uncles and then trying to claim reward money... IMO

It sounds like you have little motivation and are thinking of just joining the army as you can't think of anything else to do, mates of mine are in the army and I've even attended an interview myself. I was going in for a biomedical position but I the end I decided it wasnt for me.

From what youve said you wouldnt last long in there, if you disagree with war and your "laidback" you probably wouldnt fit in that well at all, sorry mate. The fact that you've offended a few people with your post says a lot.

I think you need to attend a careers adviser (or whatever) to see what you want to do.

Also technically when your out there "dying" your on 15,000 a year as you are a fully trained soldier. 13,000 is the raw recruits wage.

if you join up let me know so i can come and laugh at you while your in basic training. You have totally the wrong attitude for joining the forces, go join a tree hugging society or something be much more up your street.

do you think I am some sort of stand up comedian who sits here hours at a time thinking of what 'funny stuff' to post just to make mt posters laugh.

You havent got a clue.

This is me, this is how I am

No shi1t I seem dumb, fact of the matter is deep down inside Im smart as fcuk but sadly Years of drug abuse has twisted my brain.

For the record I aint a troll, ban me then if you all hate me that much Im not going to lie and say I dont give a ****. I mean ive learned some stuff about bodybuilding which Is why im here.

Only reason I posted this about the army is because I feel im going nowhere and basically need a kick up the ass (maybe the army will help) hence why im posting you ass clown.

Mate just because I said killing people isnt up my street, doesnt mean I wouldnt shoot someone if it was me or him/her.

I could kill anyone that posed a threat to me simple as, being a bricklayer your obviously going to be a trained soldier aswell.

What if our truck get fired at or the place im building gets infested by enemies shooting im going to have to shoot at the opposition and KILL.

Yes your a bricky, you do phase 1 basic training BUT your in the engineers mate, which means you spend most of your time in building walls in the hot Iraq desert.

If you want to kill people join the infantry.

but you don't want to die for chavs etc, you join the military you take on that risk like it or not, i have 5 friends who've been killed in Iraq/Afghan and they were not front line troops but were taken out by RPG"s and roadside IED's. If your so unsure then why not join the TA and at least that would give you an idea of what military life would be like, but bear in mind that even in the TA you could get called up to deploy to Afghan/Iraq.

I can't decide weather this this guy is taking the pg55 or is just very dumb. I'm not going to post anymore on the topic.

Tbh mate, your a bit wierd/naive and you would probably get bullied the fcuk out of just in basic training and wouldnt enjoy it all. So thats why you shouldnt join the army. IMHO.
