Been discussed on this forum quire a few times in the past with people having different views on the PWO protacol, personally I used to to the same as after weights with whey and dex straight after and a normal carb and protein rich meal an hour later.

However after listening to many I now don't bother with the whey and dex and just have a protein/carbs meal as soon as I can.

One thing is for sure though is u have to adequate carbs before u do a HIIT session

How long before your HIIT sessions do you eat, and is your meal afterwards as if you had trained with weights?

I usually have a haigh carb and protein meal about 2 hrs before then some BCAA's just before I start the session I then have another high carb protein meal within 20 mins or so of finishing, asap basically!

I was intending to do my HIIT at 5:30 pm tomorrow but due to work I will have to do it at 10 the morning.

The total number of calories for the day should be the same no matter when I train right?

Or should I lower carbs etc later on in the day since I wont be training at 5:30pm?
