When I am deadlifting should I step back and reposition myself after each lift or just crack on with lifting the reps until the set is finished?

Like this guy, just keep cracking on for however many reps you are going to do.

the problem with going continuously is your form is going to get more off each time. i find taking a couple seconds to re adjust is much better.

i find alternate grip is best for me, but if you use chalk then you can go both overhand or alternate, use the grip you find the most confortable

Also my shins are starting to bleed from the scrapes, slighty embarassing when after a few sets I have to clean the blood from the bar! I gotto one of those posers gyms as well so I dont think its going down so well lol. Any tips on stopping this?

yeah wear jogging bottoms mate, if it scrapes itll only leave a bruise at worse and fray your cheapy jogging bottoms

plus you have to be careful as they will come down on you for health and safety if youre bleeding on the bar, they could ban you for it

if you find with jogging bottoms the bar catches on them, use football socks or ski tubes.

ive tried with trousers but its a struggle if the bar catches, so i wear ski tubes now.

if its scraping your shins then the bar is close enough

Talc your legs can help the bar slide up, just dont get it on your hands
