This really is easy. You need:

500ml double cream
4 ripe bananas
few tablespoons cocoa powder

Put all of the above in a blender and blend until smooth. Put in the freezer. Done! Because it uses cream not milk, it doesn't crystalise

Tastes really, really nice, and is nice and filling without being laden with sugar.

Use evaporated Milk instead Fi with some flavoured whey powder thrown in to increase the milk solids so it doesnt crystallise. Im trying this out atm and i think i have almost cracked it

I might bung some whey in next version - IMO the double cream version is still fine, just keep to your daily cals. But a bit more protein would round it off a little I agree.

Of course, one could just have it alongside a cool glass of whey anyway or is that too simplistic

Love Cornwall, what with cream, icecream and pasties I usually have to diet before I visit.

You reckon? I used to think along those lines until I tried an ice-cream recipe my mum gave me. I never thought i'd say this, but HD and B&J have now dropped down the best ice-cream in the world list. The only trouble is, it's like a frozen heart attack. Serious once in a while, treat stuff!

I'd post the recipe, but i'd probably get banned for ruining so many people's diets
