If your insicure your insicure, bodybuilding will not make or break this.

Hannah just how big was your partner? did he feel like he was eating far too much or did he have a proper diet in place, could the fall in self esteem be that he expected too much from taking gear or that he hadnt forseen the amount of work both dietary and training that goes with cycling AAS.

I see your angle but youd only have to knock on the door of a few of your neighbours in your street alone to find examples of excessive eating (and of lower quality food) and vulnerability imo. From my knowledge on the subject i dont really find what youve typed above to be all that accurate although there will be AAS users out there who fall into that category.

I wouldn't have said that bodybuilding is a cause for insecurity from what i've seen of it...

How did it cause your BF to fall in confidence may i ask?

Sounds like your bf's problems run deeper than bodybuilding tbh.

15 stone at 5,11 really isnt that big anyway.

I want to know

what you think about steroids

why you do bodybuilding

Why do you feel the need to be bigger

Is bodybuilding a sport or dangerously becoming an obsession with young men

many thanks

From a girl's point of view...

I see bodybuilding and figure sculpting as the ultimate art

It is a very positive lifestyle choice, provided you respect the lifestyle, it teaches you self-respect, discipline, a positive mind, ability to goal set, all of these are transferable skills which will take you far in other areas of your life, a bonus is that this promotes your health and well-being.

I look back on my younger years (late teens) I was a wild child out smoking, drinking, raving, fighting, unable to hold a job down, mixing with life's trash, eating nothing but junk, giving little time to my family, and true friends.....

5 years ago I found the gym, and it has completely changed my life. It has taught me valuable life lessons, I now have great friends and close family, and have almost qualified as a solicitor now, have stopped partying hard, and spend my time doing great things, and have lost 4 stone, my next goal is to try a figure competition next year...

Bodybuilding has saved my life, the lifestyle is where I belong, and I would not live any other way

I'd like to see it

what you think about steroids - Theyre not for me.

why you do bodybuilding - due to old eating disorders and body image problems

Why do you feel the need to be bigger - I lack confidence and i'm insecure, i also like to be different (always have)

Is bodybuilding a sport or dangerously becoming an obsession with young men - For some like myself yes, for other its just fun and nothing more.

Thats not a negative attitude its simply stating a fact a bodybuilder at 5,11 15 stone isnt very big, unless thats his comp weight and hes ripped.

Criticise your work - what work i havnt criticed your work - i havnt even seen any of your work.

Everyone,s different Hannah which means they approach other peoples views in their own way what you or me may see as putting someone down may be seen as being logical to others but it all helps clarify aspects of the questions your asking.
