Ok folks please excuse my ignorance but I need to write a covering letter to a couple of companies as I'm applying for brickie/spark apprenticeships. Got my SECTT and CITB tests arranged for next week, so just need a rough idea of how to lay out my covering letter as I'm totally lost atm. Cheers people

i alwys use the guidelines of........ 1. introduction 2. Why you want the specific role AND the specific company 3. Why they should want you i.e. why you’d be good at it 4. Close i have a template i wrote whichi just change round for different skills and different jobs.
