Details of how and why it works are on www.gymtext.com - click the tabs at the top.

theiopener -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 1 2008 10:45:41)

i have read the site and it still doesnt say whether theres a charge to the end user who signs up for this service

I will email the admin of the site and report back [:)]

CoNs -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 1 2008 10:56:38)

I signed up for something like this a while back

was £1+ a message

and most the stuff they offered was bunk with extortionate postage

hope your not the same

Details here: http://www.gymtext.com/pages/signup.php

The service costs just £2 a month and is billed direct to your phone bill.

The offers look decent - have a look at some past ones: http://www.gymtext.com/pages/recentoffers.php

theiopener -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 1 2008 11:05:42)

ahhh cheers James, its rather well hidden then, i was expecting it to be in the about us pages and how it works tabs

James -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 1 2008 11:08:33)

Good value IMO - £2 per month, even if you only pick up an offer on something you want every 2-3 months, you'll still have saved money

CoNs -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 1 2008 11:32:03)

Agreed, i see they have Udo's on the list :)

Tomazi8 -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 1 2008 18:59:08)

is this a muscletalk thing?

2 the max -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 1 2008 21:35:28)

i would have thought so, hence the MT

No, it's not run by us, we're just a partner

Tony Barnes -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 2 2008 9:42:11)

Never mind Cons - found it now

gymtext -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (May 12 2008 13:32:44)

GymText serves to balance stock levels in warehouses by giving an outlet to businesses holding stock that has a shelf life and is overstocked. Businesses like it because they get to clear their end of line or overstocked items quickly, and customers like it because they get a discount that would not be available elsewhere. What makes it unique is the ability to set the number of offers you want to receive and choose the type of offers so you never get an offer that is not relevant.

If the mods are happy, as a developer of the service perhaps I can answer any queries in this thread?

If it's save £45 then surely you'll be selling two tubs for £45? Good value, but nothing all that special TBH

WiseyP -> RE: Text GYM MT to 82085 (Jun. 23 2008 20:20:44)

I think I understand it. U pay £24 a year to get a list of warehouse supplements companies may have on offer?

Were there any more offers than the ones listed below as £24 a year would not really make that worth it?

2/05/08 Buy one, get one free on 1kg tubs creatine. 406 tubs available.
11/04/08 Free box of protein bars with every tub of leading brand creatine. 178 tubs available.
11/03/08 Maximuscle: Buy Gakic get Glutamax AKG and shaker free, save £32.50. 218 tubs available.
28/02/08 Buy one, get one free on Maximuscle NO2 saving £25. 172 tubs available.
19/02/08 Buy two, get one free on EAS whey protein, creatine mix. Offer lasted 2 days.
28/01/08 Buy one get one free on leading brand performance drink. 480 tubs available.
15/01/08 Buy one get one free on Met-RX creatine saving £45. 290 tubs available.
29/12/07 2 Maximuscle Cyclone tubs for £39.99 saving £20 on RRP.

Weider is also not seen as a good product and £45 is still expensive especially when u have to pay for texts
