Oh and by the way when you have you license Revoked it doesnt mean your banned just cannot drive for a week or so till you get your provisional back then i was back driving on my Little 125 Scooter.
Took me bout 6 or 7 lessons to get rid of my bad habits i had in just over a year then passed my test last month

Now you have your license back, do you still only have a maximum of 6 points in 2 years before it's revoked again?

Yes i do, my passion in life is fast cars so it comes with the territory... Right place and right time tho and in moderation.
I have done some silly things in the past which im not always proud of but never the less, i have never injured anyone else and i have a clean license having never had points at all. (in 11 years)
Ill probably get done tonight saying that....

I usually do but i'm trying to force myself into being a good boy now. I'm safe at any speed i travel at due to my driving experience, which means i drive within my limits for location and conditions.

The reason i'm trying to calm down and be a sunday driver is purely down to the high and constantly increaseing fuel prices

yes i do im afraid, imo there are many places where the speed limit is there purley to catch people speeding when there has never been an accident, nor is the limit nesessary.

If i get another 6 points i.e 2 more speeding offences i get banned for a year from driving!
Dont have to re take the test but banned for a year obviously will make my insurance sky high!!!

Ive got to wait 4 years till all of my points have gone and end up with a fresh clean license.

I thought that too!!

Both of my speeding offences have been by police radar guns and they are crafty my 1st one he was hiding behind a tree and postioned his gun on one of the trees and beeing dark i cudnt see him at all!

At the end of the day tho i shouldnt of been speeding but as ya know everyone does it you just dont think you will be the one that gets caught.

I don't need to speed. I get my fast driving kicks on the autobahns legally.

Yes I do speed, I hate it when stuck behind someone going 20-30mph. I have bad roadrage tbh.

I generally travel at a speed i feel safe doing. Not what some halfwit thought was a good idea 40 years ago. Some may disagree, thats fine.

The only times i probably speed excessively is on country lanes, A roads and motorways.

It's like you read my mind mate. lol

I do have advanced driving qualifications so I`m not some nimrod who thinks they are a good driver because they can put their foot down.

One could argue that this being the case, you of all people should know better. You may, because of your skills be less likely to have an accident, but the consequenses of that greater speed, should you have one, are the same.

The dead child might have been injured, the injured one might have been scratched, the scratched one might have been missed.

Do you?
Yes. Not many people don't. Contrary to Government belief, most people are reasonably sensible and have a good judgement about what speeds are safe, condition dependent etc. Most people don't look a the speedo and think "i'm safe! I must be cos i'm under the limit!!" - they can tell if they're driving safely without looking at the speedo.

How often?
Don't know, not all the time, - I just have the odd blap and then back down to the limit, - corners are more fun than straight line speed.

What kind of roads?
Twisty roads where I have good visability ahead.

Have you been caught?
I got caught doing 67 in a 30 when I was 17 in my boy'ed up XR2. I've been caught speeding about 4 times since then.

I almost never speed. Never in thirty five years of driving have I ever exceeded seventy miles per hour. And boy do I take grief for it, If I had a tenner for every time I have had fists shooks at me, lights flashed, horns sounded, middle fingers flipped, heads poked, watches pointed at, I would have a villa in France by now.

Strange how people can get so worked up over someone's refusal to break the law

Right up intil the moment when the accident happens and then how much extra damage does that excessive speed cause ?
