Forgive me if this is a stupid question but rather than spending a vast amount of money on products like NO-Explode, vapour etc... wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a batch of Ephedrine. I have never taken Eph before so i don't know first hand the effects but i'm looking for a pre-work out supplement that will really give an extra kick to my lifting

Yes, some may want to do that but some just don't get on with it, some can;t take it and others just fall for marketing hype. I don't like stimulants that much but there are a few nootropics I like and use, as I sometimes want to train for longer and don't like the either the idea or the effects of taking eph. based supplements often/regularly. I wrote a little more on the subject here but it really needs an update.... http://www.t-nation.com/readArticle.do?id=1311858#bottom EDIT: p.s. I'd never recommend stimulants like eph. to my athletes either!

tbh I have found nothing better than eph. Only problem is, I don't use it because if I did I would think it would be worthless going when not taking eph, such is the performance enhancing qualities of the drug.

Agreed. Whilst it may not be the safest thing to take. Eph by far is the best thing I've taken as a pre workout supplement.

I took it for a while why i was trying to loose weight, its made my not want to eat with isn't good if you want to put muscle on. I found all i needed for the day was an apple. Also if i took it before training late at night i found i was far to awake and couldn't get any sleep. It does give a good burst of energy though, my hands used to shake after i had taken it.
