looking forward to tomorrow,should be good. i like to wish everybody competing best of luck and to my brother jay hughes( who's had to go through acupuncture in his foot to get himself fit) and hope my training buds paul carter and laurence browne have good day.sadly i've had to withdraw with a neck injury and now have to get myself fit for the uks in 3 weeks.
weather forecast is good so BRING IT ON!!

the results i remember on the first 3 events:
280 deadlift 1st oli 16 2nd jimmy 13 3rd jay 12
120 or 125 log 1st jay & oli 9 3rd jimmy 8
farmers 130kg 1st enzo 2nd jay 3rd oli
i think thats right . i bow to peoples better knowledge.

How have 4 qualified rather than the top 2 in all the other comps????

I asked that and one or two others in the other qualifiers also had wild cards given to them. Although it does seem as though the South (which to be fair is the biggest for population) gets more. That's not to knock Oli etc because they are of a very high standard.

i think it may be due to brycie being there [he'd been helping one of the guys competing mike i think??],i'm sure others who came 3rd/4th etc will get there wild card call up

Anyone got the full results? Unfortunately I couldn't come and watch.
I trained with Enzo a couple of weeks ago (him and his training partners came to our gym), and he's the only person who's ever managed to flip our biggest tyre. He did 2 singles with it. Awesome.

Does anyone else think that Brycie should attend the other qualifiers as well??? Instead of the South getting the most attention! That way he could see who does what and issue wild cards appropriately based on what he has seen rather than what he has heard. It would also show the athletes that TWI care a bit.
