Heard a rumour about Bentley going to Liverpool.

No way once again he would be better than no1 but i defo prefer a top class signing thats what lpool need, big players with big reputations, not average joe's.

Bentley is better than Pennant, and would allow Gerrard to move to where he plays best - in the middle of the park.

Gareth Barry is better than anyone on Liverpool's left hand side and would be an improvement to both the left back and left side of midfield.

Both Barry and Bentley are among the leading Premiership players in their positions, something Liverpool need if they have serious domestic aspirations next season.

The likes of Aguero and Johnny Foreigner would always come with a risk of turning out to be an absolute donkey. You only have to look as far back as Diego Forlan and Juan Veron at United for proof of this.

I dino about that, pennant is a good player, quick, good at crossing.

Babel will be on fire next year imo

Yeah your right about forlan and veron, but look at torres, there is a risk yes, but i say rafa knows alot about the spanish league and there players, quality players can almost play and get used to playing in any country

Incorrect. Spanish players have and continue to fail in other countries. There are just not as many that play abroad in comparison to French/Africans/S.Americans.

Babel is nowhere near as effective as Barry. Pennant is nowhere near as effective as Bentley.

Benitez has had enough money and enough time, I'm surprised he's still there.

I wonder if Messi would go to chelsea what with them not really having a history in the game,i would have thought if he came to the prem he would opt for a move to Man utd or Arsenal, but id love to see him at United, just like you would at Chelsea.

I do hope he ends up in the prem next season but at Man utd.

Messi is most talented player in the world would also love to see him in the premiership. Would love to see him at Arsenal, mainly because he wouldn't fit in at West Ham with midfield of Noble, Mullins, Boa Morte and Paintsil

Yea if he goes anywhere it will be Chelsea as Man Utd wont throw 80 million at a player because they could get 5-10 other good players for the future

babel is very good so is barry babel has pace as barry doesnt, barry is consistent and has good passing so prob the better player atm.

I dont like bentley tbh, but maybe he will get even better at a bigger club, like torres has

if you're wrong will you still tell us who you were on about?

Anyone else think that Messi would just get destroyed in the prem?

He's a bit of a sicknote as it is, let alone when he's being battered week in week out.

Would rather Alves over Richards, and i think Messi would be incredible in the prem and most defenders wouldnt get near him, just watching him now against Valencia and hes tearing them apart,it was 3-0 barca after 13 mins, although its still 3-0 coming up to half time.

The guy is pure class though.

The premiership is far, far more physical than La Liga though.

Defenders wouldn't hesitate to plough him down.
