Same as you mate, same reasons and same way of paying it back. My problem is that I ignored it for a long time so I didn't do myself any favours.

Mortage £36,000, car loan none (company car), company credit card £220 which will be paid off by the company on Tuesday. Personal credit card £630 which will be paid off on the 8th of may. No loans to speak of and no secured loans. All in all I'm pretty much debt free and intend to stay that way.

Too much! wouldn't write here in case Mrs sees but came mostly from same way as BB and 1MR

Actually I'm wrong there, I just realised I only took 2 of 3 years of loans. I got £4500 each year, so is £9000 total. Was Sports Science degree mate but in London you get higher amount for your loans.
Might emigrate to escape paying :P hahaha

Few grand remaining on my student loan, c.£700 on a consumer credit agreement at 0%. Enough cash to pay off both if I so wished.

Well so far mortgages aside I have more debt than you all combined

£925.17p left to pay on a personal loan. Never ever gettin a loan to buy a car again!

i owe about 3k left on a 12k loan but thats it now and i'm currently saving 1k a month so that won't be around for much longer.

Nothing outside of student loans, and they dont really count. Thank god, my father taught me the lesson of never to get into debt. You would never believe me, but he got himself into just under half a millions worth into debt when i was younger. He had 4 businesses, all of which went from success to failure, due to his own faults and addictions. And yes, it also taught me to be weary of certian drugs and what they can do, to even a great person.

We nearly lost everything and we did lose most of the things we had, and some of that debt is still being payed off 15 years later and after declaring bankruptcy. Banks still crawling out of the woodworks realising they have money owed. Taught me never to get into debt, i likely never will. The only impending debt i can see is a mortgage, and i still intend to gather a large deposit before i venture into that!

1000 on the credit card and the loan for the car ,probably a couple of grand left to pay off ,nothing out of the ordinary
