Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying some reflex instant whey, isit any good?
I normally buy my protein from bulkpowders, felt like a change and have been hearing good things about this protein.

Samples were only manufactured 10 days ago, so you got it pretty quickly. Instant Whey is one of the only whey products that will contain the amount of protein that is state on the label and backed by independant tests.

just jake -> RE: Views on reflex (May 4 2008 17:29:05)

I have tried reflex and it is god stuff. Mixable, tastey and gave good results. Also they are one of few that sell whey in a 10lb bag.

After trying reflex and optimum nutrition id go with ON, it matches upto relfex in every way and is cheaper. you can get it in a bigger bag as well

just my opinion

the 10lb bags are pretty similar if you shop around. some tasty deals on multi deals.

just jake -> RE: Views on reflex (May 4 2008 17:35:11)

yep. multideals are good. I normaly buy 3 bags and them split them with my mates. Its good value for money.

Daari -> RE: Views on reflex (May 5 2008 0:44:27)

aldo -> RE: Views on reflex (May 5 2008 5:40:25)

Can anyone tell me 1 good reason to buy reflex whey £36 for 2.5kg rather then bulk whey from MP for £31 for 5kg?

because that's not a reasonable comparison:

1) is the MP whey flavoured? flavouring costs money after all, and personally i prefer eating stuff that tastes nice.

2) is the MP in bags (which you have to then move into old tubs) or tubs? the reflex comes in a tub that can be opened and closed repeatedly, and even their bags are re-usable, unlike the MP one.

3) Reflex make all their own stuff - they have their own factory. MP don't, and farm out the process to other companies.

4) That is a naff price for Reflex instant whey - I've just found through randomly searching my competitors a 32.99 with free delivery price, and looking at the 10lbs bag places, I've just found a place where you can buy it for LESS THAN 11 quid per kilo!!!

That's with delivery to mainland UK.

It's flavoured and it has digestive enzymes.

I have been using unflavoured for 3 years now though simply due to the cost

2muchpower -> RE: Views on reflex (May 5 2008 20:13:51)

Cheers for all your responses guys, looks like reflex it is. I thought my protein produced there protein in one main facility?

Shyne -> RE: Views on reflex (May 5 2008 20:30:15)

Reflex whey is good stuff.

If You wanna save some dosh you might wanna get the flavoured from all-in-one(same as reflex) - after all I do beleive it's made in the same factory.

PRL -> RE: Views on reflex (May 5 2008 20:48:05)

Very good brand of protein.

Use their Micro Whey for all my pre contest diets. Awesome stuff. Shame they don't make their original Tri Matrix any more.

Funkster -> RE: Views on reflex (May 5 2008 20:54:52)

i was a big reflex fan, now i just use MP.
