hi does anyone know where i can get a set of 40kg dumbells? ive asked the gym owner but it doesnt seem like anthings going to happen

ebay - and plenty of websites will find for you later, or make some! ive made all mine working on a steelworks!

I used to have my own dumbbell handles and extra plates at my gym before they upgraded the equipment. I could fit 4x5kg plates on each end of the handle, so 8 in total.

Or buy a set of Olympic Dumbbell Handles and use the normal plates from your gym (assuming you train in one and they have 2" diameter plates)
