The idea of cutting is to drop bodyfat while aiming to keep as much of that hard earned muscle as possible. Strength during a cut will decrease at some point, usually the further u get into a cut. But the key really is diet. Get this nailed and with hard training and cardio the fat will drop off.

as above, keep the protein up good diet, youll be fine
