Icemansoldier -> Gravy for sunday dinner? (May 4 2008 22:15:41)

Usually have this every sunday for dinner, would it be classed as a good, bad or acceptable sauce?

1MR -> RE: Gravy for sunday dinner? (May 4 2008 22:37:19)

Usually classed as why do you care!!

Have the gravy mate, its fine and will make no difference to your progress [:)]

Well you heard wrong [&:]

I'd say lard of some other solid form of fat was the most calorie dense form of food but gravy certainly isn't.

1MR -> RE: Gravy for sunday dinner? (May 4 2008 23:01:56)

Just eat the damn gravy [:D]

Kallo do a great one with no artificial additives and 30% less salt than Bisto. Tesco sell it.

RedHotF -> RE: Gravy for sunday dinner? (May 5 2008 14:47:44)

Depends how it's made really. If it's made with the fat and juices from the roast, then obviously fat content will be higher.
If it's once a week I'd say just enjoy it and have it [:)]

richsINS -> RE: Gravy for sunday dinner? (May 5 2008 15:08:16)

ALot of them contain trans/hydrogenated fats.
Not my cup of tea, read the ingredients and pick the best one.

Gravys lovely.
