Usually have this every sunday for dinner, would it be classed as a good, bad or acceptable sauce?

Well you heard wrong

I'd say lard of some other solid form of fat was the most calorie dense form of food but gravy certainly isn't.

Kallo do a great one with no artificial additives and 30% less salt than Bisto. Tesco sell it.

Depends how it's made really. If it's made with the fat and juices from the roast, then obviously fat content will be higher.
If it's once a week I'd say just enjoy it and have it

I reckon it's those Gu chocolate puddings - one tiny pudding is over 1 days total points allowance on my wife weight watchers diet.

Off the top off my head

Potato starch, Malto, Vegetable oils, Salt and then a plethora of incidentals.

Per 50 ml serving

Protein 0.1

Carbs 2.3 (0.5 sugars)

Fat 0.6 (saturates 0.4)
