i want to start doing some cardio to help with fat loss, but i have to be up for work at six in the morning and dont want to be getting up any earlier as i will be tired all day. what should i do i.e should i go for a jog in the evening. i currently go gym 4 times a week and just weight train, i am thinking about buying a punch bag and useing it on the days i dont train. i weigh 16st 6lbs and want to lose bodyfat.

Hiya mate, personally i would and do get up earlier for my cardio, you get used to it real quick. But if you really cannot see yourself doing this then a jog in the evenings would suffice. How many times a week would really depend on how much you have to get rid of, i presume your diet is nailed if it is you should have no probs with the fat loss. Have you considered doing HIIT a couple of evenings a week, this will really help shift the lard. Good luck.

Quality sleep is far more important than setting your alarm to go for cardio, just do it on your off days or after you do weight lifting
