Just wondering which is best, the vitamin c oral tablets or the ones that are soluable in water, for the last week of contest prep?

I don't think it matters, though you may wish to consider your fluid intake pre-comp, thus go for the former

Vitamin C is inherently water soluble so a chewable tab should mix the same as a dissolved powder once it's in your GI. In other words, it shouldn't make a difference.
