it's all a little warped to say the least.
a little while ago I heard a radio report that woolworths had brought out a range of bedding (duvet covers pillowcases) aimed at little girls and called it the 'lolita range'.
Of course that would be appalling if it were deliberate, but, possibly this is even more appalling, they didn't know enough about the story to realise the faux pas.
Even worse (according to a quick google) the man in the book intended to sedate the pre-pubescant object of his obsession so that he could take advantage of her in her sleep.

Let's not forget Gail Porters photo shoot in one of the British Magazines that put her out of the running for presenting Going Live and any other kids programme. There is enough teens showing themselves inappropriately on youtube etc without one of their biggest role models helping to encourage it.

i watched hannah montana once cus me sis was tellin me about the pics etc and how her dad was billy ray cyrus(legend) so i thought id have a look, to my amazement her dad was on the tv show aswell, the show is appaulingly cheesey, it will make you laugh, it might still be on sky anytime.

Lol! I have a feeling most people wont get how many levels that joke, works on.
To the OP. I can see why the girl being 15 may cause a cufuffle in the United States. But then again, a country that loves its weapons as much as its church, is always going to rant about an 'underage' female, posing in a 'sexual' picture. Personally i dont think its anything worth being bothered about, nobody came to any harm.
