right read the rest, some good posts, everyone knows what there talking about, iceman your diet does need moding.
not enough protein. ive been eating alot better recently, lot more eggs, and cottage cheese, and im ripping up form just that no cardio plus my protein intake is much higher, so im feeling im putting size on, im feeling good.
if your having 2200 cals, eating reg, cardio, your going to put your body fat down.

With regards to chest. You routine is 4 sets of flat and 4 sets of incline BB. What sort of rep range do you stick to?

Have you tried mixing it up? Using dumbells instead of barbells? Also, include dips into your chest workout - one of the best mass-builders besides benching


Yeah adil im aware that bf tends to go up during a bulk, ut it can be controlled eg diet, cardio

Yeah just changed my routine there last week i had been using dumbbells for a while, tried bb and found i could actually more weight for more reps, so my routine now is falt and incline, i like to train for strength and mass so i tend to keep reps between 3 - 12. I may add in a few sets of d'bell flys too, to take my chest sets in total up to 10 or 11 in total.

Dont have dipping facility in my gym unfortunately ive heard great things about it

One thing that annoys me is that its going to be really hard to tell if i lost 1.5lbs casue my scales are just basic one's and not electronic/digital.

since my lil diet change ive lost 7lbs in 3 weeks. no cardio!!! mental, diet on my journal (might be some use to you as it got alot of protein), and just had green tea every day, mixed with caffine and effergen every other day, down to 8.5% bf. weight now 193lbs, two week till hol like to lose another 2lbs a week.

as you know as i seen you post it, aim for a gram of protein to lb of weight, ie 200lbs=200grams of protein. try spread it out over the day, eating every 3 hours. you will get there just dont give up

as you know as i seen you post it, aim for a gram of protein to lb of weight, ie 200lbs=200grams of protein. try spread it out over the day, eating every 3 hours. you will get there just dont give up

oatcakes are good source of carbs, can use the like bread, but better that eating bread. i dont eat bread on a cut

still gotta eat carbs cant cut them out competly.

few blokes do carb cycling, was gonna give it ago but didnt get into it, might after hol as im going on another one

Yeah dw i wasnt critising you for eating weetabix or egg yolks, do you put the weetabix in hot milk and eat then down to egg yolks yeah?

Yeah ok, i must get some choc whey and add it to my porridge for breaky, casue i got choc orange atm and put a scoop of that in my porridge the other day it wasnt great becasue of the orange flavour, so choc should be good

egg whites is the protein eat as many as them as you can, egg yolks is the fat, but got few vits in it, only have few a day.
ill eat some weetabix 3-4 with cold milk (hot milk be fine if that what you want), and eat the eggs after.

lol havent tried that, also for protein intake, solid foods are better than whey powder, concentrate on solid foods and add shake in on top, few times a day.

Yeah dw i wasnt critising you for eating weetabix or egg yolks, do you put the weetabix in hot milk and eat then down to egg yolks yeah?


egg whites is the protein eat as many as them as you can, egg yolks is the fat, but got few vits in it, only have few a day.
ill eat some weetabix 3-4 with cold milk (hot milk be fine if that what you want), and eat the eggs after.



so your just using the weetabix to full yourself up and there prob low on calories too im guessing?

yeah with out protein you wont grow, (other things do help). i would concentrate on protein intake, then the cals.


Yeah ok, i must get some choc whey and add it to my porridge for breaky, casue i got choc orange atm and put a scoop of that in my porridge the other day it wasnt great becasue of the orange flavour, so choc should be good



lol havent tried that, also for protein intake, solid foods are better than whey powder, concentrate on solid foods and add shake in on top, few times a day.


Ive heard alot of poeple doing it i bet a few do it on the forum lol
