I have started swimming 3km every day at a fairly quick pace which burns around 600-700 kcals but should i replace the salt lost through sweat by adding a pinch in my post workout shake

I am no expert but that sounds a little bit unnecessary to me, i would have thought you probably get enough in your normal diet TBH.

Happy to be corrected though.

no way! i dont think there are many people on this earth who get less than too much of their salt rda even with exercise, as a bb you eat alot more than most and in most foods you will find salt in lumps so you are probably getting more than enough
