Hi chaps, I use a variety of vits and mins daily and I'm happy with what I take but no sure on the quality. I tend to use Holland & Barrett but recently I've been wondering if all vits and mins are created equal? Are some of the well known brands like Solgar and Quest available in independent healt food shops actually a better quality supplement or are the Holland & Barrett range just as good? (I'm talking purley about multi vits, etc here NOT protein powder etc) Thanks.

as far as multivitamins are concerned, they should contain what they say they contain, so two brands that contain the same should give the same results regardless of cost. fancy packaging can account for different prices, as can the upmarket image of some brands

I don't buy anything from H & B. I get all my vits, mins & miscellaneous supps from Nature's Best, Healthy Direct, ZipVit, Vitamin Research Products, Bio-tech (soon) & Boots (when I get my card which allows me to buy some supps at half price). All vits, mins etc have to meet certain quality standards.
