GeorgeCee -> Oily Fish? (May 5 2008 20:12:45)
Would like to know what are good examples of oily fish?
I eat a lot of tuna steaks, but I'm scared of cooking most fish. I know they're light and I don't want to burn them...or not cook them through.
So if you could give me some advice on how to cook the examples of oily fish it would be very much appreciated
thanks

Fresh tuna. Fresh, tinned or vac-pac sardines, pilchards, mackerel, herring, salmon, trout. Fresh fish cooks quickly so keep an eye on it. Tinned & vac-pack fish are pre-cooked. There's also boil-in-the-bag fish which has cooking instructions.
