Hi All, I've been Bulking for the past 5/6 months and want to cut without loosing the muscle mass I have gained.

I work out in the mornings due to work commitments, I've looked round and most diets I can find are based around evening work outs.

My planned diet is as follows but not entirely sure if its alright....please help.

07:15 - 2 weetabix with milk, protein shake with water & Omega Capsule
08:00 - Work Out
09.10 - Creatine, Dextrose - 10mons after protein shake
11:00 - 1 apple and a handful of nuts/seeds
13:20 - 1 roast chicken breast with brown rice and vegetables (carrots, cucumber, lettuce, so on)
15:30 - 1 apple & 2-3 oat cakes
18.15 - meat, potateos and good portion of veg
21:00 - Not sure what for here
22:45 - Protein shake

All advice appreciated cheers.

Stats and portion sizes.

What's a protein shake mate? (IE, what does it consist of?)

Much bigger, carb-rich breakfast needed there.

1MR - My protein shake in simply Whey

Nigeepoo - They are Omega 3 capsules from myprotein

I'm 6ft 2in, 15st 10lbs and about 21% bf.

Used to have 6 weetabix before workout should I keep that the same. What about the 9pm slot mackrel - Been having cottage cheese and crackerwheat.

6-7 of those a day will do. You can get better value caps from HERE (6-7 a day) or even better HERE (3 a day).

I will look at getting some once I've used these.

What do you make of the rest of the diet? Any changes to be made?

The rest of the diet looks O.K. As long as you get your protein, EFAs and enough carbs pre-workout, the rest of your diet isn't critical. Slow carbs cause less hunger pangs than fast carbs. As long as you don't try to lose weight too quickly, you won't lose significant muscle mass. If you feel like crap after workouts, have some carbs post-workout as well as protein.

your 11:00am meal is effectively your PPWO meal.

1 apple and a handful of nuts/seeds isn't gonna cut it here. Replace with something similar to the 13:20pm meal.

Something like cottage cheese or eggs (egg whites) would be a simple addition there.... maybe swap the time of it with your whey shake
