newbie could do with some advice!!!!! - May 6 2008 14:13:12

hey there all im looking 4 advice in terms of my diet. im only interested in bulking at the moment. typical days eat breakfast whey protein shake, 2 boiled eggs on toast 2 weetabix 12ish new potatoes/pasta, tin of tuna, salad 3ish rumpsteak sandwich and side salad 6 ish chicken/salmon steak (something along those lines), potatoes/pasta and veg 8/9ish whey protein shake iam training 5 days a week using 1 session 4 1 body part. any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated thanks

Hi mate I only see 5 meals a day. Try to get 7-8 meals in, And any snacks too ( Like protein bars to up kcals) Also what time do you train? And wheres you PWO Meal? Also do u Fule your session before hand well? I use to eat loads of wetabix but switched to Oats for a more slow realese carb where needed liek mornings. and Pre Trainning fule up. Defo get some fruit in there. throught the day. Banana before tranning always good. Looks liek u could do with some EFA. Linseeds or EPA/DHA caps allthough u got salmon listed but depends on how much and what type i think, Nige will be better answering that. Also read TIO's Begginer Guide would help. Regards

hi steveo, how long have you had that diet for mate, any results off of it? make sure you have salmon around 3 times a week to get in your efa's

hey there eye opener......only been on it couple of weeks as ive only just started traing again have put on weight but not sure if its just muscle memory coming bac or if its the food. hey there frankenjim. thanks yeah i will try fit in a few extras in. what do u mean by fuel your session b4 hand well? if u mean eating b4 training how long b4 the session should i eat??? i usually train around 5 5:30 when the missus finishes work

Steveo if its working no need to change it, if your 4 meals a day fit in with your lifestyle then thats fine. Come back to us when things dont change for the better
