I have a Brown Rice Protein Concentrate shake from MyProtein before bed, which I think is a pretty slow protein compared to whey at least. Now I've gotten used to the "unusual" taste and consistency that is.

I'm lactose intolerant, so I have to avoid anything dairy based. I might try soy protein too.

You could try a Micellar casein by reflex. Same kind of protein that is in cottage cheese , slow releasing, great before you go to bed.

I prefer casein because it doesn't induce the same feeling of fullness that solid foods might.
If I were going to stick to solids, I'd use whole eggs.

BSN SYNTHA 6 is a good protien drink to have before bed time.

It has slow release proteins in it

Its light & mixes easy and its the best tasting protien drink i have ever tasted!

I agree with Gogz87

The choc flavoured one is thick and creamy. Nice treat in the evenings ;)
