Good going on the job mate! What's it doing? I've just applied for a writing job, kind of a job, for an online website. You basically write articles and if they're published you make a percentage on advertising revenue. I don't think it'll be much of an income, but it'll be good to put on my CV for writing jobs I apply for in the future. Squat thrusts the ones where you jump up in the air? Might try them on Friday with a low weight. I remember when I was 11st I could do Ab planks for 2 minutes and I never felt a thing, now though it kills me after 10 seconds lol. I have naturally weak abs because of my operation.

It's working in a local cafe. I worked at Dominoes Pizza as an assistant manager for 4 months but then they started to **** around with my hours in a very disrespectful manner, so I left much to their shock. The guy who owns the cafe is awesome, really funny and generally a nice guy, the sort of guy you could see being your mate and my brother works there as well, which is a big plus! The best part is though, work days go from 8am till 3pm 6 days a week, which is nothing compared to what I used to do and it leaves me with the mornings to do my runs and my core-strength exercises, and the afternoon/evening to eat and go swimming, hillsprints/weight sessions and my circuits! If I keep this up for a couple of months, I'm going to be down to 16 stone fairly quickly and hopefully doing 4-5 mile runs at a 8 minute/mile pace by the end of the summer. Spirits are high and aspirations even higher, bring on tomorrow. Edit: Nope, you're thinking of burpees. Squat thrusts are burpees without the jump.

Tuesday 13th May SS Cardio (2mile walk, 2 mile run) Core strength level 1 2x3 Hill Sprints Circuit training level 1 10x Squat-Thrusts 10x Press-ups Ab Plank - 30 seconds 10x Lunges - Even more lovely DOMS in my legs now, great, it hurts to walk. :( 10x Sit-ups 10x Clapping Press-ups 50 skips between each circuit. ( With rope) (I know it's the same as yesterdays, but I can't find my dice so I'm just re-using it, as it gave a good work-out!) Bloody brilliant day! Up at 5am, knocked out the 2 mile run at a fast pace and got my Core strength level 1 down before I have to go to work as well. Work went fine, plus I get a free 10inch wholemeal sandwich that I can pack full of salad, chicken and Nandos sauce, yum! Going to do the circuit and the hill sprints tonight, have to keep updating before I get the chance to do them thanks to my brothers suddenly needing a lot of time on the computer for no apparent reason, but they'll get done! I really need to sort out getting swimming into my daily routine, possibly heading there straight after work in future but if I'm being honest, I reckon if I keep this up for another 2-3 weeks I'll be ready to move up to level 2 and generally crank it up a notch! Feeling fit and generally tight at the moment, my bodies coping really well with what is, in all fairness, a fairly heavy volume work-load.

Thursday 15th May SS Cardio (2 mile walk, 2 mile run) Core strength level 1 40 minutes continuous swimming Notes: Well, my alarm clock completely and utterly failed to wake me this morning, so I didn't manage to get anything done at all before I had to go to work, which was a big blow. However, I did manage to cram the above in in a few hours after work, going to show that I really can include swimming as part of my everyday routine if I so choose! Quite a confidence booster, that, and I really enjoyed todays swimming session, I find it a brilliant conditioner and excellent for steady weight loss. I did have to drop the circuit training and hill sprints today as I simply didn't have the time/energy to cram a full days work-out into one evening, but I reckon a Running, Swimming and Circuit training base, 6 days a week, with added Hill Sprints/Resistance sessions will be doable and I'm hoping to attempt a move up to Level 2 sometime in early June! Have to be up at 4am tomorrow to get running as I have to be in work at a horrendously early time, but with an early night and a new alarm clock, the sky's the limit!

Saturday 17th May SS Cardio (2mile run, 2 mile walk) And that's it! Normally I'd be pissed off, but today has been *awesome*. Just one of those days where everything flows, you meet a pretty lady and realise you have close to a grands worth of cash that has accumulated by your careful efforts! Life is good, it's just a shame my friends girlfriends are clamping down on them tonight so I can't go and bathe in whiskey. :( Tomorrow's a rest day, then as from Monday, forwards once more! Two more weeks until I weigh myself, I'd like to be 246lbs even after my week of decadence.

Good job regarding the smaller waist size. I remember when I was 16stone all fat with a 38 inch waist, I used to be positively overjoyed when my clothes started hanging off me. I remember buying 34inch waist pants and being amazed at fitting into them, then being astounded when I needed to keep them up with a belt. Then I remember the belt being too big for me and I had to buy 32 inch waist pants, then managing to fit into 30inch waist pants lol. I've just had that "omg they fit again" recently, with my very slim fitting 32 inchers from a few years back fitting nicely again (although my bum is a bit squashed lol).

Tuesday 20th May SS Cardio (2 mile walk, 2 mile run) Core strength 1 30 minutes continuous swimming Circuit training 10x Lunges 10x Box Jumps 10x Step-ups 10x Sit-ups 10x Press-ups 10x Elbows to knees Training went fine, I'd comment more but I just wrote more and the ****ing thing got deleted for no apparent reason. Training through tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, then taking Saturday off as rest. Using Sunday and Monday to attempt the tests to move up to level 2, it's about time! Cheers Firestorm, losing weight is a great feeling isn't it? I've got to the point where it's all slowed down a bit, but I've made my diet pretty strict in the last couple of days, most of my calories coming from Chicken, Brown Rice, Eggs, Raw Vegetables, so I reckon by the end of the summer I'll be in the sort of shape I'd like to be! And of course as my fitness increases, so do the demands of my training so more calories being stripped away and so on. I still feel fat and unfit, but I guess figures speak for themselves, and regardless I'm certainly moving in the right direction! I have a pair of suit-trousers with a 36 inch waist that used to almost disect my waist, just waiting until I hit 17 stone to check them out.
