What sort of diet are you following?

Just simply lowerin carbs? Carb cycling?

Hi Jack

diet is pretty much same as before

high carbs, high pro, low fat

just increased the output for now

4 on 1 off

I've nearly finished UD2 and so will probs be starting that on monday. Won't be following the routine he sets but I will be following the diet pretty closely.

Have you read it?

UD2.0 is good mate. does the job, albeit with a tendancy to overcomplicate and results are rather slow

If so, do you think growth will be better on the days that you carb binge? I am on a 4 day split, push, pull, legs, isolation. I want to be in the best coniition for growing on push and pull day. Do you recommend putting my 1-3 day binges on these days?

no need to binge on w/o days

you grow when you rest

if you want to prioritise upper, work upper more often with legs at maintenance

R3261, you say results are slow on the UD 2.0 diet, why is that? I thought it gave fast results?

@ Sam

alternating between very acute periods of 'growth' with 'fat loss' is neither optimal easy or quick

as such it is very easy to fail spectacularly

wife did the bf reading at 9.53%.

vastly underestimated my previous bf which i'm ticked off about

can definetely see a differnece in my waist line, and my hips look narrower so i'm happy

will keep my bodyfat within this range till 6 weeks before contest

i grow best with my bf fat the lower end, so i should add a few pounds of muscle too, if all goes to plan

due to work / family commitments i'm back to my 9 day split with cardio 4 x a week

diet ~ 4000 kcals

550g carbs :a healthy divide of both low/high Gi carbs. low GI for satiety. high Gi for the additional water retention
300g pro: from whey/eggs/goat/casein/chicken/milk
70g fat: eggs/fish oil/ milk

How tall are you mate?
What class are you entering?
Shape looks decent though you're nearer 10% than 12% bodyfat for sure.
All the best for your show.

Then to Oly stance for three sets of 15

Calves
-Seated and standing supersets

Hams I do on seperate day

Seated Leg curls 3 x 15
Deadlifts working up to a heavy 5

@ Rack

Things are a bit hectic atm. Hence the lack of updates here. Don't consign that to a state of slackness though. Still working away, putting the hours in. Hunger is very low. Haven't skipped more than the occasional meal however.

Cycling my carbs, high/ med / low For two reasons.

1. Weight is falling off faster than I liked.

2. Allows me to go into the final week with a sound of understanding of what works and not

carbs are mostly from white rice. protein is alot more varied. minimal fat from red meat/ fish oil

Today, medium

1/2 scoop whey

1 hour cardio.

meal 1

200g goat, 30g basmati rice

meal 2

250g chicken breast, 30g rice, 50g green beans, tbsp olive oil

meal 3

As meal 1 plus veg

meal 4 as meal 2

meal 5 half tub cottage cheese
