I was just wondering what you all eat/take before, during and after a training session?

An hour before training
wholegrain basmati Rice or pasta or sweet potato or wholegrain bread (quantity depends on if I am cutting weight for a fight or not)
Chicken/ pork/beef/ turkey
Vegetables

Whey protein + maltodrexin immediately after, only whey if I am cutting weight

Similar format to before an hour after my shake.

christ i could never eat just before a workout.

I eat a carb rich meal or shake an hour before with at least 70g of carbs, then a meal when i get in, usually 2 pieces of salmon, spinach and mushrooms.

I'm not a diet guru I know the basics, but since I'm trying to drop from 170 to 155 would I be better just to eat protein after a training session or resistance workout as opposed to protein and carbs?
