is there such thing as too much protein when weight training? what is the ideal ammount of protein to have per day and could you recomend items i can put in sandwhiches that are high in protein and low in fat? thanks

depedns on the person, your body will consume as much as it needs.

recommends 40-50g protein per meal.

rule of thumb is 1.5g per lb. if your cutting and roughly 1g per lb of lean mass.

as for the sandwich filler.

chicken
mackeral
egg
tuna
cottage cheese
quark
tvp
peanut butter
turkey
beef
ie anything that has enough protein and fits your daily requirements.
