i would ditch the beans and have oats or wetabix add little fruit

2 hrs later Protien drink

dinner -pasta/rice & chicken

Have some veg in here

2hrs later -bannana's

Banana is not a meal its a snack, So have fish and pasta/rice ot Steak and poatao veg etc u get the idea

2hrs later -Protien drink

tea time -2 Jacket potato's with 1 tin of tuna

Bit of veg and or fruit

before bed -Protien drink

I like having egg whites 30-60mins before bed as its lean protein

I don't im eating enough, i sometimes change things around i like to eat mackeral fillets, eggs, chicken, rice, pasta, tuna, i make up alot of my protien through shakes.

Where does ur tranning fit in??????????????????????????????????????? ~Once i know this i can tell u where to ditch the protein drinks unless u reallllllllly cant get any solids in u.

Over all you need, more fruit and veg, more structred meals, and some efas flax powder, linseeds pumpkin seeds, salmon etc.

Yeah i know i only like eating banana's not up on seeds or oils though what are they all about??

Whats efas flax powder & linseeds please enlighten me i want the whole lot!!

I train when ever i can as i am self employed & work for myself so its easy to just dash to the gym when ever really

And yes i sometime do struggle getting solids down especially in the day time and TBH the main reason is i just don't feel hungry and the other reason i can't be bothered to make anything i know this sounds bad but i think if i had someone too cook my food i would eat it alot easier

Im not the best cook TBH

I find it easier to just mix a shake up

But yeah i defo need some more fruit & veg in the diet !

Dave you know im frank with you mate, but dont go on cycle until you know what you grow on mate, watse of time and money otherwise

with regards to diet, its poor on face value mate. Stats please dude

DOnt worry about meal frequency either, 3 or 8 meals it makes no difference, its what you are comfortable with mate

BF id say around 12% or so if you have abs, thats quite abit of mass youre carrying though mate, be interested to see a photo.

anyway diet id recommend for you

Breakfast 4 whole eggs with 4 whites, 4 slices of granary toast and apiece of fruit (this can be low sugar jam)

snack handful of mixed nuts and a protein blend drink

Dinner 150-200g of wholemeal pasta with sauce, 200g chicken breast

snack 500g fat free fromage frais with a piece of fruit

tea time: fine mate, get in some veg!

before bed: 200g oily fish like salmon with a some veggies in stir fry sauce

thats just a rough guide mate. adjust it to your own needs though. Once you see how you react to growing with a good diet then hop on cycle as youll want to get the best otu of it and no sense in selling yourself short IMO

Great advice TIO

Its a real i opener (pun) ....when somone points you in the right direction.....you certainly know your foods & diets..this is probably my weak point.

Don't know what Bodyfat % is as this has never really bothered me and although you say i am carrying alot of mass..it sure don't feel like it... but remember that im quite tall aswell... As for abs there are sometimes 4 showing but only on good days.. i find once i start hitting the abs hard i have no problem getting them out but at the min they are slightly covered over.. Will try and get some pics sorted soon...

All the foods you mentioned i like.. i eat quite alot of salmon and tinned mackeral fillets by John West in a spicy tomato sauce...there great with no bones just meat...

I normally have 6 scrambled eggs for breakfast.. but put 2 yolks in as they are rank if they are all whites.. think i would heave!!

Thanks TIO Anymore advice will be noted down.. whats the crack with the seeds and flax oil ect...?

Lidl in my experience

But you can also use things like turkey mince which is cheap and only 5% fat too, ASDA and sainsburys sell it

Diets going a little better now thanks to some good advice

I have cut the eggs to 4 using all whites as advised

Im eating more fruit

more fish for omega 3

Cut back on the protein shakes a little

But eating more food, im trying to get my protein from food a bit more than relying on the shakes.

How much Protein and Carbs should i be having per day?

I weigh 102kg so about 16 stone.

Thanks

1.5g of protein per lb and as for carbs i'd say aim for a figure then adjust depending on how much weight you put on. aim for same amount of carbs as protein and i believe 20% of you whole diet should be fat.
