What are the detailed signs of a photoshopped picture? I can tell with some fake pictures i see but not here

The image isnt "fake" as such, but there are numerous contrast, "fill in light" hue, levels, fcuk Adobe Lightroom alone will make ANYONE instantly look amazing and more defined, there is a skill level in knowing in "that looks really good" and "ill just turn everything up to about 90%", then it looks like a comic.

Look at the cover of the mag, and think "if I was to shade him as a a graphic drawing"...you start to see it.

i voted average. The question was about his physique, on a bodybuilding website, so i cast my vote about his physique from that perspective. yes hes lean (though not as lean as the photos suggest) but he has no size to his frame, so where is the achievement? for me his physique is average, good condition but no size whatsoever.

disagree and quote the dictionary at me all you want, thats what i think.

yeah, you can see the dark areas around the abs, which gives the appearance of lots of depth, but when you look closely its just shading, there is a little depth there but nothing to cause such distinct shadowing, and anyway its wrong for shadowing, the abs look stuck on almost.

Your right about having no size to his frame but I think to even get a body which looks anything like that you have to put some serious effort into it; unless you've got super genetics.

lol I'd hate to think what you would rate my current physique.

probably average, the same as i would rate myself, i have good size and shape, but im not lean at the moment. if i stood next to the guy in the photos he would look like a twig, he could probably hide behind one of my legs

For the 'average person' he has an amazing physique. For a bodybuilding community such as MT I'd still say he has a very good physique. Out of all the photos of MT members I have seen only a handfull are around that condition. He isn't huge, but as a fitness model he isn't ment to be huge.

The third pick you posted gives the best indication of his actual size and shape I think, much less photoshopped than the others. Someone might aswell of just drawn on abs in the second photo..

if you took 100 members from MT, stood them all together, you think he would look average and not above average?

thats how i look at it when looking at and critquing physiques on here.

also, how many lbs of LBM do you think he would need to add before he could step on stage in a bbi'n comp? a lot less than the MAJORITY.

the definition of 'average' cant be argued with and that physique is above average on all levels, be it in the street, on a bodybuilding forum or in the gym.

i agree theres some enhancements be it PS or make up, but we havent been asked to rate that, just the physique.

when you look on his website, the guy actually has a very good physique, and there are some much better pictures than on here, and you can also see just how much those photos have been altered

LOL, i'd always prefer your honesty mate.

i'm just trying to understand the reasoning behind the average vote, break it down i suppose. no matter how i break it down, i cant ever see the reasoning behind an 'average' vote.

fair play if thats how you see it, it would be boring if we all agreed on what 'average' was. my average is from looking at the people that post on here, yours is obviously a higher standard than that.

EDIT: worth noting that yours is the only average vote too.

I agree with jack5r.

I WOULD agree with this, and the sentiments are right,

But you give me a photo of somone half in decent nic that posts on this site, let me run some of the filters and processing taht he has obviously had done AFTER a professional shoot, and then we can make a proper comparison.

I'm not commenting on my nutritional value.

IMO his face doesn't match his body. He looks in decent shape, most likely photoshopped (being for advertising and all) and I guess average joe would like to look like that. Not big, but aesthetically pleasing to most outside the iron community.

Above average, and probably most women's ideal male physique......

BUT i prefer the 'SLAM' look than the 'GLAM' look, if you'l; excuse my gayness there.
