My gym:

It's got everything I need apart from a rack for squating from. Kitch table+side table for shakey deep weighted dips, argos chin up bar in the hall way which is coming loose on one side, wonky bench, bar, db set, plates. £120 for everything thanks to argos and gumtree. 115kg of weight.

COD4 is great isn't it. That other one must be a Halo box, or it's that other FPS. That box right by COD4 looks like Clash of the Titans.
Do you get to do any leg work in your room? Looks quite cramped from those images.

Will post images tomorrow after training.

COD4 in the middle. A Bruce Lee dvd to the left. Assasin Creed to the right.

I used to do my legs at a gym across the road from my school on machines as my goals were size at the time. As I am looking for strength now I have started squating. I currently have to clean + press the weight onto my back which means I can only go to about 70kg as I worried the bar will get stuck on my back lol. I don't like front squats. I do a ham raise type thing by putting my feet beneath my mums bed and lifting myself off the floor with my hams. Also do bulgarian and one legged squats. All light, but I need to improve my form anyway so not all that bad. Rack coming soon.

What you can do to get the bar onto your back with a bit of a heavier weight is stand the bar upright on one end and lift it onto your shoulder and back that way. Old time strongmen used to do it like that before they have racks and things. I read about one being able to do it with 250k.

I know the thing your on about and I've tried it. I use a 5ft bar so it's impossable to it up like that.

Because one end needs to be near the floor, preferably touching. A five foot bar, half on, will be a few feet short even if he bends over. Of course he could buy a longer bar - after all he seems to spending plenty on Xbox games...

I'm 6'2" and can do it with a 4 1/2 foot york bar. Stand it up on end, crouch down and hold onto the bar and then let it roll down over your shoulders and stand up. Job done. I dont think he's that tall so it should be even easier.

Just imagine how much lifting space he'd have if he didn't have those things that aren't lifting equipment. Surely he can sleep on the floor.
