especially when your drawing attention to your scoda. If I had a Ferrari I might do it out of arrogance though.

Yeah those bmw zenons and also the audi a5 lights are amazing. Im getting an Audi A5 next year. I can understand leaving the lights on on those cars, amazing. But people with crappy cars do it too lol.

I dont have a Ferrari do I? Ive got an Audi A3 which although is a nice car it is pretty low on the scale. My Dads new BMW 7 series is worth 5 of my car and that makes me feel well and truly on the ground thanks. Im nothing special and I never said I was better than anyone else, I just like cars so maybe I get abit carried away when Im describing them. I dont talk any differently then any other young lad who likes cars.

It cost 20 k but cars lose their value as soon as you start driving them. The 7 series is the sport edition witch is customized with extras but I havent been in it yet, only got it yesterday.

just to note, i'm not sure about all volvos but certainly the S80, the main lights are permantly on, you have to actually turn them off, rather than on if you see what i mean and even then the side lights are still permantly on.

you think thats bad the depreciation on bigger cars is horrendous. his dads 7 series will have lost an incredible amount if it was bought new.

I know, but my dad believes in buying new cars and not used ones. Me Id rarther buy a nice one which is 2 or 3 years old and then stick a private number plate on it.

his audi wont be worth £15k

my mate has the 200 brake diesel with everything in it and on it
it's a 53 plate but it is worth around £15-18k still

now apollos car is a 1.6 petrol, probably basic spec, and lets face it soon to be low mileage

good luck with the a5 apollo, it will look good sat on your driveway for 2 years

for the rest of the members, some people spend their money on cars, some spend it on other things
i bought my focus for £10,500 and paid all the cash there and then, i now have my own mortgage at 23

i would be dissapointed if i had an audi a3 or a5 if i still lived with my parents to be honest, it would have to be a top of the range s4 at the least

just read your other post, the above is not a dig but i think youre attitude is somewhat unique and quite different to anyone i know in the real world, and believe me i censor myself on here as opposed to in real life
let's face it it is the internet, i have yet to see anything on any of the various boards i post on that i actually give a 5hit about, i do not need to be loved by many many people sat in their pants in their lounge

Why bother with a private number plate though?
There's nothing at all wrong with driving a car a few years old..... or driving a "dog car" (old car that you don't care about your dog jumping all over covered in mud from a walk) if that's what you want.
Nothing to be ashamed off and no need to hide the vehicle age - especially as most of the time you can tell from the body shape/headlamps/trim or something.
