Mclovin -> Adrenal fatigue (May 8 2008 10:39:09)

Is there anything I can do for adrenal fatigue other than take a break from stimulants?

Daari -> RE: Adrenal fatigue (May 8 2008 10:43:56)

there is a product that helps called 'Reset AD' made by palo alto labs

gwilym -> RE: Adrenal fatigue (May 8 2008 11:05:33)

Anyone know of any UK sites that stock this?

Thanks mate

Can you take reset alongside stimulants or do you have to take a break from them?

ThaiFighter -> RE: Adrenal fatigue (May 9 2008 10:26:05)

That's a really cool product.

julesm -> RE: Adrenal fatigue (May 9 2008 10:38:16)

in an ideal world you would want to use Reset AD as a standalone product and give your adrenals a chance to recover

i can say that i have used copious amounts of stims over the years- without any real lay off periods
i bought reset ad and used it at 3 times per day, and can honestly say it gave me a jolt when consumed with coffee.
I also found that taking it before bed gave me a more restful night's kip.

this is cheap enough to be a staple supplement (if bought from the u.s)

The writeup on the product answers it. http://www.reset-ad.com/. In short answer yes from that write up.

Mclovin -> RE: Adrenal fatigue (May 9 2008 11:25:55)

thanks

Which guy?

Osagi -> RE: Adrenal fatigue (May 9 2008 15:59:05)

I've always found a good dose of l-tyrosine (3-4g) alongside any stimulants I use both effective at enhancing the stimulatory effect whilst also counter-acting the symptoms of this so called 'adrenal fatigue'.

I'm a little less sure of some of the ingredients in that product.

Thats because l-tyrosine is converted to Levodopa in the adrenal glands. Levodopa increases dopamine levels in the brain (as the name would suggest)

the ebay guy selling the reset. when you account for shipping, handling, postage, hassle...and that's before duty, vat etc...that product could* be selling for a loss.

*Edit: Is probably selling for a loss. PayPal fees when you turning less than 15k per month are between 2.4 and 3.4%, plus eBay fees, final value fees...ouch.

Daari -> RE: Adrenal fatigue (May 9 2008 16:07:36)

Nuraplanet were selling it for $12 not too long ago

must be much cheaper than I'd guessed [:)]

I was assuming it's like a $20/30 product in the US

It's around ~$18 now though, the sale ended a while back
