Right i spent a fair bit of time in other countries and in the east i became friends with one guy who was pretty well built, say mens mag size roughly. Anyway, i asked him how he trained out of interest and he said that he trained 4-5 days straight for about an hour each day just doing different things and training as hard as he could. Then hed take 4 or so days off.
His idea was that 4-5 days of training built up a huge stimulus for the body to grow then the rest days was when it grew then hed repeat it.

Seemed to work well for him any thoughts on this, i know many things can work but i just thought this was fairly different in approach.

lol thats still way bigger than me, thought it sounded like it made basic sense, train each day till you wake up and feel like your body is tired, then rest every day till you are ready to go again.
kind of makes sense in a really basic way.

might try it but then lots of ways seem to work.

so what was his total volume over the 4 days?

there are probably a few people on here who trian much hard.
read the likes of beefcool routine. hes trianing for a over hour using drop sets etc. so he probably does more work.

but give it a go if you want.
