Right i spent a fair bit of time in other countries and in the east i became friends with one guy who was pretty well built, say mens mag size roughly. Anyway, i asked him how he trained out of interest and he said that he trained 4-5 days straight for about an hour each day just doing different things and training as hard as he could. Then hed take 4 or so days off. His idea was that 4-5 days of training built up a huge stimulus for the body to grow then the rest days was when it grew then hed repeat it. Seemed to work well for him any thoughts on this, i know many things can work but i just thought this was fairly different in approach.

so what was his total volume over the 4 days? there are probably a few people on here who trian much hard. read the likes of beefcool routine. hes trianing for a over hour using drop sets etc. so he probably does more work. but give it a go if you want.
