i have recently added Burgen Soya and linseed to my diet with unwanted side effects of many toilet visits!

i think its because of the seeds and was wondering if flaxseed oil would have the same effect on my bowels?

i have been taking around 5 to 8 1000mg omega 3 caps as well as around 2 to 6 slices of the bread a day, i used to only take 3 max of omega 3 and never got these problems

would the oil have the same benifit?

The problem with the linseeds in that type of bread is that they are whole and they tend to pass straight through you undigested. Take a look in the toilet pan if you care to!

Either grind the linseeds and sprinkle on various meals or use the oil. I use the oil on salads myself although I must confess I hate the taste

Was your diet low in fibre before you added the burgen?

Yes, the oil can also have some GI effects - taken on an empty stomach after a heavy night boozing, and it can literally go straight through... trust me. In some people it causes slightly more slippery #2's for a while whilst the body acclimatises.
