how about making every single member a mod? then all our problems would be solved

It was a serious question actually [:D]

Without people on the board (i.e. non mods) then MT wouldn't exist, surely some qualities could be taught?

Some qualities are indeed taught - but it's really not that simple. As I tried to hint at in a previous post in this topic, I get a 'sense' now for a good mod. This sense may be wrong or right, a direction I see when I put the suggestion to the team

quote:

if there are some trouble areas on the board then why not elect some mods with limited powers who seem adept at dealing with said issues and dont have to worry about what goes on behind the scenes, they will be there to deal with what goes on open board

A suggestion which has been raised and discussed before; a concept which is full of pros but not without potential problems. The concept was thus put onto a back-burner. I was raised 2-3 days ago again, following this topic but one of the long stadnign mods again. Therefore you have a valid suggestion[:)]

And yes i am low carbing but my train of thought was simply along the lines of being a member first mod second like i am on UGM

hope im managing to explain this properly without looking like an idiot [:D]

more or less than usual?[;)]

i hope that everytime people have written the word "respect" they have touched their heart with their hands clenched in a fist

if not you are all being dis-respectful

as scruffy said - give it to receive it back, or vice versa

I salute or clap mu hands... does that count?
