Hi , Just a question regarding protien powders

I am using BSN syntha 6 ATM but im going through it like no tommorrow and its getting expensive

What other Protiens are there that are good, taste nice, and that will last a bit longer than 4 days

Thanks. [:)]

theiopener -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 18:46:11)

unflavored whey that you flavour yourself mate, always best bet [:)]

paulom -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:07:43)

dave_leic -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:09:37)

Really ?

Ive never heard of unflavoured whey!

Sounds good though where do you buy that from?

How do you add flavour...?

Is it High in protien..?

Tell me more tell me more

5% discount for your first MP order MP11523

WPC80 means its 80% protein by weight, low carb and low fat

Flavour it with milkshake powder, options sachets, and crusha cordial [:)]

or All-in-1 link is in the sig [:)]

Growbaby -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:16:40)

It has to be Boditronics Express Whey... Have a look around here, you will see they have an extremely good reputation and they taste GREAT [;)]

I got mine from Bargain Supplements 2 x 5lb for £55.00 Delivered - They also do them individually for £29.99 Delivered if you only want one.

Have a look...

All taste superb .. But the Banana Split gets my vote![:D]

dave_leic -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:18:55)

Cheers Mate i shall try that out

Is 80% a High Value? Looks Good Enough!

TIO could you explain a little more about how to flavour this ?

You say Milkshake powders - what are these do you mean nesquik or summert?

Options sachets aint that hot chocolate?

And crusher ? do i mix all these together or are they seperate ideas?

theiopener -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:20:59)

Nesquik is milkshake powder

Yes options is hot chocolate powder but they come in individual sachets and in different flavours

crusha is cordial concentrate

each you use separately

You can even use non acidic juice as well like cranberry juice (things like orange and grapefruit will make the whey curdle and not nice to drink)

80% is very high mate a 50g serving of powder is 40g of protein

dave_leic -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:33:07)

Nice Sounds Great Mate! [:)] Is this what you use?

Gotta try it out!

What does it taste like then on its own? is it nice mixed with things you said?[8|]

Is Crusher Gd for you? No sugar in it right?

theiopener -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:36:06)

Most of the time it is what i use yes, i got a steal on some 90+ and im using that up and going back to unflavoured

On its own it tastes like piss weak milk

Crusha is fine mate, because its concentrated you only need a little bit, dont sweat the small stuff mate [;)]

Also MP do sample so email them and ask for a sample and try it out for yourself to see if its for you

If flavour is of paramount then i agree with the guys about Boditronics Express Whey, its just pricier because its a blend too and tastes the bollox [8D]

dave_leic -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 19:47:20)

I like the sound of the unflavoured its a bit different

Where do i find bodytronics mate?

theiopener -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 20:07:06)

Look up dave another member had already posted the link to Boditronics for you mate [:)]

Mobster -> RE: Value for Money Protein Powders (May 8 2008 20:07:13)

I'd highly recommend "Options" for flavouring. They're cheap with plenty of variety. And not too sickly![:)]

Yeah that is nice stuff.

Boditronics Express Whey, Reflex Instant Whey and CNP Whey get my vote

The same brands do good blends too.

John.
