Got one in the loft (this is our Main bedroom now). A tower one for £10 from Tesco, had to be done, the bedroom just gets too hot.

I have developed an addiction to them now ! I can't sleep without my pedestal fan on Silly really - as sometimes I end up huddled under the covers - so I can't feel it , but If it is not on I suddenly feel too hot to sleep I have always "run warm" - even as a child I'd throw the covers of even in the winter , but then a couple of summers back I tried a fan in the bedroom and loved it - now I can't sleep without it ! ...As you can imagine , the wife is thrilled - and the "carbon footprint" police would have a heart attack if they knew !!

Same here, I'm like a walking furnace. I could probably count on one hand the times in my life when I have felt really cold. Which actually makes me very energy efficient, as I never have the heating on. I did go through a phase of not being able to sleep without a fan on, but that was more about the gentle hum it made that used to block out my mad neighbours Celine Dion moments, rather than needing to cool down.

As above. Always boiling hot. Little mirages often appear on the surface of my skin.

I have my fan on now. I actually keep as many appliances switched on for as long as possible just so I can annoy those sanctimonious environment tits.

I have a small, but highly energy efficient fan sat on top of my monitor. it is on ALL the time when I'm in front of it, regardless of the outside temperature. and I can count on one hand the number of times I had the heating on last "winter". being a child of the 70s, I was bred to be able tolerate the oncoming ice age.
